Was it purely coincidence that this was posted the same day as PyClojure? http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=3589374 https://github.com/eigenhombre/PyClojure

I keep hoping to see more PATCH support in REST frameworks like this, but it doesn't seem to be getting much traction. Perhaps we need to include it with the CRUD operations... CRUPD?

This looks like a great use of gevent and zeromq. Anyone interested in author's PowerHose library ( https://github.com/mozilla-services/powerhose ), might also want to check out the protocol patterns documented by the zeromq guys, http://r

This is a case of his fast, DNS-based checking method not providing accurate results. You can see the difference by running nslookup and whois on the domain. Nslookup just uses DNS, whereas whois goes to the registrar/internic. $ nslookup c

Based on a few tests, I think he's just doing DNS queries and assuming any NXDOMAIN response means a domain is unregistered, which is not always the case. Sure, users figure out the domain isn't available once they try to register it, but b

Not sure why you would say VXLAN is any more standards-based than OTV. They're both IETF drafts. Unlike VMware with VXLAN, Cisco seems serious about completing the standardization process. OTV draft 03 is available here: https://datatracke

You totally missed the point. The video was showing how to use the IDE to add support for their DB migration tool to a specific model class. Initially, the class did not have the XML metadata required to track migrations so the IDE underlin

I agree with OP. People are mostly over-reacting. Trying to regulate the collection of personal data is a waste of time. We should be focused on limiting the 'evil' applications of personal data, regardless of the source. If an employer, ba
