The core problem is using too many modules, and frameworks like oh-my-zsh look good, but don't give you much visibility on the internals. When I was using MSYS2 (cygwin based, so with a slow fork) I ended up writing my own solution for

That may not fly on HN. You didn't get the memo that TikTok is evil and everything made in China is bad? (with the possible exception of RISC CPUs, because reasons?)

You may want to add it, as it could give a simple backend backed into the binary, so it would be fully standalone: it could just create and use a file.sqlite

Good! Now can you add room to have M2 22110 drives? There is no reason to stay limited to M2 2280. It just takes an extra half-inch and a screw.

Did you read the link? Just add a PowerShell script at install time to exempt the virtual network interfaces from Windows Firewall if WSL is detected and the user agrees! It's super simple and easy.

Congrats! Just one question: In the past, postmaster had problems with WSL2. I documented the issue and the solution: https://www.reddit.com/r/safing/comments/ryioj7/portmaster_b... Is it fixed now?

If you create an efi payload, you remove the need for the /boot partition and for grub2, killing 2 birds with 1 stone. The payload can be managed by your UEFI bios and efibootmgr, allowing more advanced thigs like signing your payloads
