Big +1 to this. I was a big n900 fan who ended up getting a job a Nokia through some of the OSS stuff I made for it and your diagnosis of the “Qt for Symbian” problem is 100% spot on. The amount of time/effort that they put on Symbian

Really cool, well written article. And also, very timely! The video deposition of Gates echoes so much of the latest Zuckaberggate... And as much as people made fun of Zuckaberg.. he did much better than Gates!

Dude, this looks really nice! I use nested stuff like that all the time - nested layers of flat data ;) - and glom (+T) do seem super appropriate and nice!

Really nice blog post. Regarding the free page-check without login vs requiring login; I’m not so sure it’s as clear cut as put there. Signing up for a service with significant community backing is a lot less scary/annoying than signin

Does anyone know if Musk’s language & tone is always like this internally? One has to appreciate the bluntness and the lack of Corp speak. OTOH it sounds pretty stalinistic. I wonder how sustainable that is..
