I would love that. I've been working on my startup for over two years, and my "Show HN" post last week didn't get a single upvote. I was really disappointed. I think the Show HN section would provide more visibility.

Have you ever noticed the arrow in the FedEx logo? I'm always surprised how few people have "seen" it. Go look now: https://www.google.com/#q=fedex+logo if you don't know what I'm talking about

Exactly. It seems like business oriented press releases often say passwords are "encrypted" when they really mean hashed (if you're lucky). So we can't really tell from this.

Shinola is using leather from the Chicago tannery Horween, that was discussed on HN last week... https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=7705512 http://www.shinola.com/journal/what-horween-leather

Yes, if it was the custom malloc that allowed memory issues to go undetected, what else is doing that?

Our daughter is Evelyn/Evie as well. She's 7, and we were ahead of the upward swing. (I was a big Social Security baby name geek). Our pediatrician said, "what an unusual name, there isn't another in our practice."

I'm a bit of an audiophile myself, so I wouldn't listen to Beats, but I do think "bad" is a value judgement. I want a neutral reproduction of the music, and I get that with my Grado's. The Beats customer wants lot

I think it would be a lot easier to just charge them $6 once a year. Or just a one time fee, like pinboard.in does. (Currently $10.38, which is easy on credit cards.)
