Living in Texas just isn't the same as living in CA. Some people prefer it, but it's cheaper for a reason. On the whole, fewer people prefer it.

While the Intel switched helped, at least I thought it was great, the big deal was that OS X was a tremendously usable Unix on amazing laptop hardware. I'm not sure the architecture mattered as much as that did.

One specifically is just that Discord works well for me when used "natively", but doesn't work well (won't connect, worse latency, etc) when I used it from the webpage.

There are lots of interesting jobs that don't have 9-5 hour requirements, or any time based requirements for that matter.
