My phone can autocaption audio from any website, I assume there are services that would do this for videos. Is this worth considering?

I use an IDE with plenty of smart completion. Copilot offers considerably more (otherwise I wouldn't use or pay for it).

In my opinion Copilot helps with the easy, boring stuff by typing what I likely would have typed anyway. The harder the code to write, the less likely I'd be to lean on Copilot.

We have a hand-rolled solution that does this and it's easily my favourite part of our codebase. Ours is with a Java backend so a bit more complicated but not much. If you have a tightly coupled frontend and backend and no need for thi

The Jinx is the peak of the true-crime-podcast genre (even if it is a doco). Truly gripping.

It is hard to describe this doco in any way that does it justice. Fascinating, compelling, horrifying, disgusting, surreal. The breadth of discussion it opens up both on the individual events it covers and the implications for humanity. I h

Do Airpods suffer lower audio quality when the mic is live, like all the other Bluetooth headsets I've tried?

> Bluetooth headphones have worse audio when mic is on. I was shocked when I found out this was the case in 2020. Surely this would be a solved thing! So annoying especially for this exact use case.

why do you think no multiplayer video games have tried that?

by crummy 4y ago
If that were the case, that makes Java's results fairly impressive, given the JVM's slow start time.

I'm surprised no-one has posted the email from Glassdoor suggesting this. You'd think one would get a lot of attention. Maybe they don't contact many companies about it.

How do I pay Glassdoor to take down a review? Is that on their website somewhere?

They might be looking for a developer, and would accept either an intermediate or senior. Presumably the job description would indicate as much.

My location history is spotty enough; it doesn't appear to be constantly pinging GPS, so I don't think an hour sized hole would look amiss.
