You mean you don't just go read the man page for every bash command and intuitively understand it? Sorry for the sarcasm, I just feel your pain. Learning even basic things in bash has been slow for me too. I love it. I prefer it to GUI

It's happening because the USA has declared it illegal for any website to knowingly host any content that might be illegal. As such they're pulling down anything and everything that might be even possibly illegal.

If you're deleting Facebook and not getting rid of messenger you're missing the point. Messenger is more invasive in many ways, even if it doesn't track your web activity as much.

No. Nothing but scraps of stories handed down and embellished over the millennia. We have no objective measures at all.

Last I saw there were over 1 million accounts distributed by CA. Even assuming they were only distributed 3 months (unlikely) and there were only 1 million accounts (also unlikely) the maximum fine is: 1000x1000000x90 = 90 billion dollars.

The original author shouldn't have done linear calculations but exponential. That said: the longer that it takes to get that exponential; the more there is in the atmosphere. I wonder how those curves compare to linear and where break
