i think you need to provide more details for a good reply. what changed between the time index was used and when it wasn’t? I also had to “convince” postgresql to use my index but that lead to a much better design

I am not arguing with your original point about the language. But Singularity is as closed code as it can get and has a bunch of crazy assumptions associated to it (must have .NET installed which rules out most architectures) Can you explai

it is more sinister than that i believe. i do not know about spain or italy but these frequent elections come at serious monetary cost in top of the slow down of governing. at the same time the same prime minister is then allowed to extend

Having a similar experience with delivery apps. ordering directly from the place is almost always better to. Happy to realize that for 50-60€ you can have a super luxury dinner if you plan ahead. we are talking champagne and steak here. C

I think this discussion is missing important facts: 1. The current ruling government forced these elections 2. the same prime minister was elected in all of these and he could not compile a government due to lack of mandate

thanks for this, i couldn’t articulate it so clearly. Another gotcha is responding to closed channels, it makes sense in the grand scheme of things but when the program grows it gets tricky

channel programming and the races caused by closing channels. channels seem nice and easy until they don’t. the whole var/:=/= assignment combined with the error handling style and the shorthand is another one
