Guilty. I had no idea Kanban was about this. At my place it's a virtual board and you pick things off the top right (highest priority work needing review) and move left (bottom left is lowest priority work not yet started).

Haven't seen it mentioned here and it's not specifically mentioned in their docs where they explain about secret scanning: github also does secret scanning on all public gists. Seeing as how every gist is just a repository under t

Agreed, talking about how he discovered this API is what I would have wanted to read. He said the only opened port was 8xxx and it was a dead-end, so what port was this API running on then? How did he discover it without sniffing packets fr

I had to pause when they use the term "anti-pattern". It may be an anti-pattern for cloud spanner but it's not an anti-pattern in other distributed systems, for example cassandra.

This depends on what AWS service we're talking about, doesn't it? For example a Kinesis stream compared to running a (say) 5 EC2 node Kafka cluster with zookeeper etc. Isn't it within the realm of possibility the managed serv

This is the most concerning part. What do "regular" content creators (read: no legal team) do to remove these kinds of invalid copyright strikes?
