While it appears that cg_clif is faster to compile, does it provide any performance benefit compared to cg_llvm? Are the compiled binaries as fast as llvm compiled binaries? If not is the use-case for development purposes only?

I recently brought this up with my team. As an "old-school" web developer, I buy in to the whole CSS as design thing, while the front-end engineers @ work switched to using styled react components. As we look to make substantive d

This is the first time I've seen something reference ingesting or drinking ketones. While I imagine it doesn't have the dietary benefit for losing fat, if this is a thing, and it's safe, I'm surprised it's not made

Yet another instance of RedHat buying something I used/liked and killing it off and offering a shitty alternative. And yet another reason I've tried to avoid giving RedHat money over the last 20+ years.

Anyone else find the design of the page so distracting it was hard to focus on the content? All of the animation behavior, hiding and showing of elements, etc.

Problem is like that XKCD comic about standards. People keep reinventing the wheel instead of embracing and evolving the one thing that works well and has existed for a long time.

So lobby those projects to add more support. Heck, make a PR to add the serialization language of your choice. Start coding. If they don't want patches for "[insert data serialization formation here]", maintain your own fork.

I like YAML. It's ok if you don't. It's ok that I do. Want to use TOML? Awesome. Want to use JSON? Go for it. I prefer YAML, it works for me and I'll keep using it until something better comes along that I like. Preferen

The move to Fedora on its a huge negative from my perspective. If you're just dropping OpenShift and rebranding Tectonic as OpenShift, I guess that's ok, but I'm still stuck dealing with RedHat (the organization) which in my

As an early adopter of CoreOS, paid Tectonic user, I find this distressing, disappointing, and it leaves me wondering where I can turn. This is the opposite direction of what RedHat should have done. I was hoping this was a acquisition to m

Yup, my bad, thanks. I confused the two problems I worked through in working through my use case. The transaction safety one was not the NOTIFY version of the project. That had different issues, which I need to go back and look at my notes

(Also posted to the comments section of the blog) Great writeup! One of the issues I've run into with LISTEN/NOTIFY is the fact that it's not transaction safe. ie if you call NOTIFY and then encounter an error causing a rollb
