Sorry, let me clarify; your ramblings contain no _valid_ claim. Your link to NANOG (incidentally, the wrong forum for your queries) does not contain any defense of your "Sign in with Apple" ramble, it's for something unrelate

Okay; I'll bite; I read your post. You have absolutely no claim here and the whole thing reads like the ramblings of someone who needs serious help. It actually gets worse the further down the page I read.

Neat. I have two external monitors which behave very differently though - please make the clipping setting per-monitor rather than global!

AMT is great. I use it with https://www.meshcommander.com/ - though learning how to provision the machine correctly in Admin Mode so it doesn't pop up a pin-entry screen on the remote end is "fun"!

And then you have brands like POLITICO who go and ruin it for everyone. I'm very glad we don't tolerate those case shenanigans.

It's got my generic one (firstname@), and an older Facebook login email address (facebook@, changed now since Kickstarter leaked that one). Interesting.

Add more logging. I don't want to have to guess why your service is crashing. I'd much rather be able to jump in to the logs and find the exact exception information so I can fix it quickly.

I really don't mean this as a silly question, but it seems like most of his frustrations could be solved with a powered USB 3.1 Gen 2 hub - I don't imagine any of his USB devices are individually pushing 10 Gbps.

The install experience is so much cleaner if you don't let it near a network.

> it will never be used by anyone else after you This isn't true; UK mobile numbers are re-used after a period of inactivity by the operator themselves. Unless, of course, you're keeping the number/line live in permanence?

I believe you can do this by configuring an IMAP client and doing it there; then it'll sync the result. Thunderbird, for example, is quite scriptable.

Chrome, OSX, Macbook Pro (2018). I retried today and it took 30 seconds, looking at the Network tab.

So looking at https://calculator.platform.uno/ - 84 HTTP requests - 10.2 MB transferred - 51.9 MB in decompressed assets - 23.44 seconds to start the application. For a calculator, these are pretty extreme numbers.

That sounds correct to me, since it could contain NSFW content, and by default, mobile providers in England have content controls switched on.

So worse than just not supporting sites you visit (via blocking or not clicking), you actively harm their conversion rate on ads, making their slots worth less to networks. Super.

It's a shame it still doesn't play well with more than one user on a system trying to install packages. I have a work user and a personal user on my laptop. Brew won't let me use both at the same time without getting my hands

The only products which are cloud-reliant which I am comfortable buying are those with a "critical mass" of reliant users. Philips Hue and Nest, for example, would have a PR disaster on their hands for the large parent companies i

Looks like scribe_endpoint.php is an error logger for Facebook. I mean, if you block random bits of JS from it, it'll try to report that back up. Although, yes, backoff, come on now.

Do you have your table labels muddled on the article? It's showing the 2016 with Touch Bar completing the most builds, but your spreadsheet and general disappointment disagrees with that.
