Seems like a good way to accidentally get your account sent to collections; disconnecting your payments doesn't necessarily excuse you from any contract you signed.

Absolutely, and there's a common thread in them: context. When I'm preparing to hand a project over, the README will be updated with design constraints (maybe even the RFC/project launch documents), why certain decisions were

I can't help but see folding screens as a limited-life product. Sure, laptops only last, usefully, about 6 years anyway, but it's such an obvious wear spot which would cripple the entire device. Thanks, but no thanks.

I'd wager any problem involving queuing theory could be googled/researched in under a day. Hard to call it a requirement when you can just.. look it up when you need it.

I'm a bit taken aback that it's a for-profit company. These spaces are generally community driven.

Having a headshot for the introduction to the concepts is, to me, more useful than narration over a blank IDE.

I think you might be confusing manufacturers for the cable here - a lot of VCDS-type cable companies (or OBDII bluetooth etc) will charge per-operation for feature unlocks. That's not VW though - that's the companies selling this

Amusingly, they’re calling it “Notes” and specifically NOT “Twitter Notes”. Which is not going to go well for them, judging by this submission title.

Your transmit power is too high on both units. Turn it down and it’s more likely to notice the drop, rather than see a strong signal it can’t actually reach.

Ha, my cables are all underground, making life harder. Some DNOs are only installing 3-phase now - they'll just connect a single phase up, but the wiring will be ready for three. Not mine, of course. Bitter about that.

This price is only applicable in the UK if you already have 3-phase electricity to the property, which is rare. 7kw otherwise.

I'll put Reincubate Camo here as an option too - turns your iPhone in to a webcam. I was so impressed I bought a used iPhone to use solely as a webcam; the whole setup was cheaper than the Logitech C920 he mentions. The picture quality

While alarming, these kinds of stories usually result in the victim admitting they put their info in a text they received after, saying "We found your iPhone! Log in here, etc. Love from Apple."
