Ah, I see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betteridge%27s_law_of_headline... is still working.

While seasoning your weeds can be tasty and fun, it is significantly more labour intensive than Roundup. The additional hours put in to alternatives stack up quickly.

I don't see this as a more suitable term; I had to check the definition of "confabulate" and the first hit in the macOS dictionary is "formal; engage in conversation" and the second is "psychiatry; fabricate im

It might not be trivial to achieve technically, but at the point you have multiple speakers dotted around a multi-room space, making them all play the same thing in sync is a fairly obvious idea, which I think is more what is being argued h

I’m not sure if you’re insinuating Jobs would not have shipped a thermally deficient device, but the Intel MacBook Pros were a glaring example of that.

I was going to suggest they confused MFi and e-marking for the USB-C cables, but it appears you only need e-marking for above 60 watt applications, which the iPhone 15 isn't going to require. Good news all round.

You’re being a little evasive about the context of the information posted. If I joined your TF2 server and a bot automatically posted my ASN somewhere, I’d be reasonably uncomfortable with that. You seem to have made your mind up that your

I can almost guarantee it was raised by someone back then. That’s a strange claim to make. Even just dealing with the poo was a logistical nightmare for a city!

The utility of /r/all has all but gone. It was a useful view to "what's the most popular anywhere on the site", but for various good reasons, many subreddits don't qualify to show there - either by being remove

Thanks, the Screen Time tip is very useful. Bit annoying that it can't prompt to let you use the Apple ID settings (they're now just unavailable until you go to Screen Time settings again) but better safe than sorry.

If it isn't, then my question "why the inverter" still applies I suppose. Anything else might just be out of scope or not shown, I'm not sure. It just seems like overkill for just the pi and display. edit: His desktop co

I'm a little confused about the need for the inverter here. The SmartSolar can provide output the Pi can use. Why not just throw a 12v-compatible USB power supply on there? Going up to mains then back down to 5v seems inefficient. Am I

Not a fan of Google's tactics but this is a somewhat misleading headline - they're discontinued and the software won't receive further upgrades, so at some point in time they may stop working if the platform moves on. That&#x

Agree with this article - those little Prodesks are available very cheap and with some impressive configurations for power vs. strength. I have an i3-8100T version which includes on-cpu video encoding, ideal for Plex. Runs unRAID. Replaced

Technical stuff aside, hire someone you can work with, and others can work with. Don't tolerate "brilliant jerks" as Netflix put it. They're absolute poison to an organsation. I'd vastly prefer a less-qualified pers

They've clearly stated it's a name. You can't make a company, copyright a name, and then attempt to claim all rights to it. See gail.com, nissan.com above.

Sadly, they do not. I've got the full Family Sharing thing going with Apple, Airtags are notably absent from it.

Yes - it would make sense for them to be optionally, per-device, pooled in Family Sharing in my opinion.

That's a little unfair. The problem is more that families sharing airtags don't have a good option to trust eachothers tags.

Slack and A Forum are not comparable. Slack is largely for real-time communication which is rarely referenced historically, a forum is more of a knowledge store.
