What’s funny is the VW parts used in Lambos are actually an improvement over what they used to be.

I’d actually argue that it’s not the cost of Chinese cars but their actual offerings. Compared to the state of Chinese cars a decade ago their current product products are really interesting and offer features that European, American and ot

Your understanding of what’s happened with Chinese cars is 15 years out of date. They’re really good now, even better in some ways. And honestly, it’s just the push that the legacy car builders needed.

This is the language app I've always wanted to exist. Will try it out - really hoping it can create custom lessons for specific scenarios that I need to study for.

Installing even a single command is not tenable for the vast majority of non technical users of software, not even Claude desktop users.

Ditto on the postgres MCPs vs the standard pg cli - seems to prefer the cli. Which is fine enough for me.

No, I come from Ruby and Elixir and don't love typescript or C style languages. But man oh man, LLMs are just so good with them - the feedback loop is just so good with a typed language.

How are you getting results when Ruby has no type system? That seems like where half the value of LLM coding agents are (dumping in type errors and it solving them).

From what I understand, what he built was a copilot assisted Access app. He would have not had the time nor skillset without the copilot thing. And they don't have the budget for a bespoke app.

Maybe not but it led to much higher quality synthetic and hybrid clothing. It's insane how much cheaper and better clothing is than even 20 years ago.

Yep, and it allows them to build POCs that they can pass to "real" devs in a way that was not possible before.

That’s one perspective, but it’s wrong and typical gatekeeping (do you have a software degree by any chance?). People had the same attitude towards open source tooling and low code frameworks - god forbid someone not certified and ordained

I’d love to see one for Elixir built around the Postgres pgmq and pg_crom extensions similar to what pgflow is doing: https://www.pgflow.dev/

Sure but it’s only been relatively recently that the modeling and solid state stuff has gotten close. And even then, it’s still not quite right. Also, even a good solid state or modeling amp is gonna cost a decent amount. Luckily, we have m

Toms amps were anything but budget. Electric guitar tone is 75% a good tube amp with rest being pickups and intonation.
