When traveling in Eastern Europe I did my best to explain that you literally can't buy groceries without owning a car in most places in North America; people were legit confused by the logistics of it (even villages and single family h

Fwiw, Claude 4 is really good with Elixir, including whipping up quality test suites.

Yeah, that's my biggest gripe with the Chinese stuff and why I would not buy one yet. Fwiw, they seem to be reintroduction physical controls in some models (so they are learning).

Yeah, might as well get the real thing. That model has great reviews. Wish it were available in the US.

Engine cooling issue is a major flaw. Sold my Toyota with 300k miles on it - never a single mechanical issue other than regular wear and tear.

From their already dismal reliability and insane maintenance costs?

Or just buy a Zeekr (if you want a non-Elon EV) - a much more technically impressive and better looking car than the Volvo or Tesla and it was designed in Europe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvnZ0mTCBng

Are you referring to those as agents or do you mean spinning separate/multiple agents out of sessions on them?
549.
by cpursley 1y ago
What do you mean “with agents”?

Have you read The Starship and The Canoe? Interesting book to goes into a good bit of detail about hunting craft (made from animal skin). Book said that they practiced 10 different was to turn a flipped one back over.

Biking (mountain) is my groove. Worth a try if you have some tracks as it does not put pressure on your knees like running.

That’s not the meaning behind “Little Russia”, please considering doing a historical deep dive.

by cpursley 1y ago
That’s a neat idea!

Those wrappers are gonna go away now that there's Claude Code and Googles CLI thing. They are that much better.

There's a pretty cool solution built on pgmq called pgflow: https://www.pgflow.dev/concepts/how-pgflow-works

How did you resolve this? Did you consider listening to the WAL?
558.
by cpursley 1y ago
Right, plus there's character limitations (column size). This is why I prefer listening to the Postgres WAL for database changes: https://github.com/cpursley/walex?tab=readme-ov-file#walex (there's a few usef

This does not even account for the bizarre spelling of many (most?) English words. For example, letters that are skipped.

by cpursley 1y ago
What’s that have to do with how terrible the English writing system is? Why not just reform written English to read the same way it’s sounds? I’m maybe a B2 level Russian learner and can near perfectly pronounce almost any modern Russian w

Are you talking about CLI commands? I’ve been at programming for over a decade and don’t have the type of memory that allows me to remember all the obscure non-intuitive commands - AI has been a lifesaver, I could care a-less about nerd poi

More than I can use on the $200 plan, and I hit it hard 9 hours a day. It’s mind blowingly good at react and sql as well as cli tools

I’ve deleted all of these wrappers (cursor, windsurf etc) after discovering Claude Code on pro. I’m not sure how it does it, but it’s just better. And ultimately, more cost effective.

Hidden? There’s more than one way to skin a cat. Btw, the US produces more energy than Russia as a percentage of its economy. And some of those Arab oil monarchs have zero income tax.

Said country has 23% going to pensions, so about the same. Yet still has free basic healthcare and higher education (if you test in).

by cpursley 1y ago
Had a similar experience in the country everyone hates right now including the CT scan (US made machine). If they can do it with a 13% flat tax, where the actual hell is our tax money going?

That's a very reasonable argument. Personally I'd only go with a larger brand. Those Zeekers are very compelling and look good (European designed): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvnZ0mTCBng
