The mode makes it so it doesn't unlock just because it sees your face. You have to be looking at it, eyes open and at the camera.

Because a terminal (aka tty... or teletype) was a physical piece of hardware that we now emulate in software. The y in pty is because of tty.

Out of the box apparmor is enabled by default when the system has apparmor available. I don't recall why we don't turn on selinux when it is available.

It is important to understand that as implemented by runtimes such as docker, containerd, cri-o, and podman, containers are absolutely a security device. These things force the application to run in restricted environments where capabilit

I would not ever say that, I do not have an M1 (which is specifically mentioned in the readme). I am responding to the parent because indeed there is a way to set a resolution as desired rather than just the "pick from these 4 scaled i

How would a official package manager solve packages being out of date? Apple has a means to deliver those updates already. If they had an interest in doing so, they'd update them. So it stands to reason it would be up to the community

klog is the descendant of glog which is a go implementation of Google's logging. Go has nothing to do with it except it's the logging that k8s took on (originally it used glog). -- edit typo

The original k8s codebase was Java, then rewritten in Go by Java developers. K8s is not a good example of Go, and it has nothing to do with the size of the project.

I'll be devil's advocate and say breakouts are totally possible with VM's, just by different vectors. The vast majority of container breakouts are due to bugs in the control plane and not so much the kernel. The same is likel

Siri sucks because it does t understand what you are saying at all, not because there aren't a million things hooked into it. To be fair, all the assistants are extremely bad at it, Siri just seems to be at the bottom of a bad list.

There is some support for id mapping in the 5.12 kernel that we may be able to take advantage of for this case. Will have to take a look at how to deal with this for things like volumes. https://man7.org/linux/man-pages

podman's rootless suffers from the same performance issues as docker's. This is all the same exact tech. Rootful-<tool> is always going to be smoother to get working. Docker can be a lot smoother than it is today, though.
