Drudging up 8 year old architectural decisions that Apple rightfully reverted is hardly a charitable comment. A bug can just be a bug.

More of is the most important part of this comment. Tesla would be building these anyway, since the stations will be built where the cars go, but the subsidy directly enables more stations, faster.

Godot is reasonably better than Unity, especially with Godot 4 and onward. A bit of a learning curve, but that's the same with any engine. You can certainly prototype and ship more quickly with Godot than Unreal.

In the US, the amount of three phase electricians that will work at a Residential home and not charge you an arm and a leg for it is vanishingly low , almost certainly not worth it.

This article puts the description of it at the bottom, but APCA Contrast—which is the readable contrast test in the WCAG 3 Draft Standard—is much more fair to some colors than WCAG 2.1's Contrast Ratio was. Good reading for the color t

Yeah, this post doesn't have merit — and thanks for linking, was interesting reading some of the comments. As an aside, I bet many of HN don't see much value in Touch Bar as it likely has a higher propensity of touch typers than v

I hope Apple gives us both a web API (that can be used on any platform at a low-ish cost, similar to OpenAI) and a smaller, private model that's optimally sized to run on Mac, iPad, and Phone hardware.

Yeah, just uses/abuses Opticom—the same Fire/Ambulance/Police override that many traffic lights already have installed. Crucially—since it is easy to jump to conclusions—it is not a full hostile takeover of the PLC controll

It's high time for a big awareness campaign for things like this: cleaning up our water should be an immediately funded government project. Needs a interactive map with historical data, sort of like https://app.electricityma
