If I saw more packaging like this in my local stores, even if slightly more expensive, I'd pick it up every time. I think the overall friction is more in the return process, and that's where the space for innovation really lies.

This is absolutely relevant for testing LLMs, and benchmarks do contain questions like this. These aren't "gotchas", a good answer requires a level of cognition and reasoning you wouldn't expect, say, a child to be able

The Apple case has safe stowage for the battery. It is categorically not going to be banging around if you secure it in the case properly. I've taken mine to work frequently since release and have not observed it coming loose.

This is a sensationalized hit piece against Tesla Autopilot. It is definitely unfortunate the drunk employee operating the car was involved in a crash, that at least from the wp reporting sounds avoidable—Autopilot active or not. Any death

Indeed, the proposal is for 25 hours, and its not like recording 25 hours of audio is fundamentally more complex than 2 hours these days.

This is a proposal from the NTSB to the FAA to raise the CVR recording time from 2 hours to 25 hours, in line with ICAO. This is very likable scenario for everyone except pilots unions. > The NTSB has conducted 10 investigations since 20

Yeah, the NUC form factor is going to be closest to what OP is looking for. My only concern is the desire for games, I don't think there are very many tiny PCs that are also capable of excellent gaming—if it's just steam library h

Yeah, that's fair. The tone of the website is sort of like other single-serving websites like "is California on fire", which displays yes even if a small part of California is on fire. http://iscaliforniaonfire.com

Back in 2019, I made a lil microsite covering the 737 MAX groundings. Didn't think I'd have to update it again. https://www.isthe737maxstillgrounded.com/ It's chilling that both Alaska knew of pressurization

Yeah, one of the resonant things i've seen in the show (as a non-parent) is that it emphasizes good family play , it's not a very "chill" show in that sense. I probably won't ever have kids, but having had a bit of

I know it's a distraction and orthogonal to your point, but your statement of a "key fob for your Tesla for $300" is fallacious and incorrect. Tesla uses Phone Key with with the Tesla app as your primary method of unlocking t

Apple's lack of serious long-term dedication to 3D gaming is such a self-own that makes their 3D gaming benchmarks feel weak & thin. I'm hopeful the Game Porting Toolkit + advances in this years macOS (Gaming Mode, better supp

What is a "real" web browser? One would assume its an application that takes web content and parses it for user display so they can use it to browse the web...so Edge and Safari would surely be real, right?

That's impressive, honestly. I've never seen this UI before. Apple's categorization choices for showing storage size—Felica, Amex, Mastercard; when we're used to things like Photos and apps—are particularly interesting.
