No. I take my vacation days, but I never take a “vacation”. I always stay home or close to home, I don’t like travelling unless I need to. The last time I lost internet for an extended time (my cable got dug up) made me an anxious mess for

No, that's impossible. I live in a Canadian province where the provincial healthcare situation is very, very bad. There are no private doctors and private psychiatrists are not legally allowed to perscribe. ADHD medication is controlle

I had to fill out a huge document (30 pages) going over my childhood and adult life, issues I face(d), and all kinds of other little things, as well as some multiple choice assesments. My mother had to fill out another set of documents (10

I'm not the GP, so I don't get to make that call. If they say no that's the end of the story. It's frustrating, but ultimatly just how it is. There's no possibility of a second opinion either because I'm really

Extensions don't work as I can disable them too easily. Even router level restrictions are too easy for me to bypass, it takes all of a few seconds. The only thing that has ever provided me mild success was locking my devices in my gun

I actually do have an (adult) ADHD diagnosis, though I've always been a bit sceptical of it. It seemed too easy to get and I really didn't think the testing criteria were very good. I have wanted to try medicine to see if it helps

Same nonsense on Facebook. It’s all payday loans, crypto scams, and magic mushrooms. People say it’s based on your history, but I don’t buy that as none of what it shows me is even slightly relevant. It just seems like they don’t have enoug

It only takes one bad experience to cross the hurdle of installing another browser. I had to download chrome because Teams didn’t want to work in FF and I’ve found myself using it more since.

This has always been my real issue with Gemini. Gopher is useful on all computers I own and actually makes retro computers more useful with the services available on it. Gemini’s TLS requirement prevents access by a of machines that could b

I have a heat pump and a wood stove in my house. The heat pump doesn’t do as good of a job, but it keeps one from freezing and it really shines in the summer at cooling the house. Heat wise the wood stove is much nicer. I can’t quantify why
