Try varying lots of things, maybe one at a time. Do you eat within 1-2 hrs before bedtime? Maybe you shouldn't. Or if you don't, maybe you should. Healthy stuff, either way, of course. Do you do fairly strong aerobic exercise r

I think the trend is because designers see low contrast as "chic" and readable contrast as garish. But it's a bad decision. Fight the power: http://contrastrebellion.com/

I think details matter here. What you've described is a little too general to know what's really going on. For example, when you say "everyone bashed her", what would we read in the transcript? How many is "every

I wish I knew more about these stories. How OLD were you? That's key to me. It's one thing to quit your job when you are 23; another entirely if you are 51. I'm assuming the average age of the commenters below is 28.

Other than the few years ago, what regimens have you tried? Why did you go off the being really good, eating right, etc? (other than that you are human and it happens). Can you re-commit and give it a good try? Have you read The Hackers D

Clicking the button does nothing for me on FF 17.0.1, Opera 9.60, and IE 8. Appears to be broken?

The visual design of the site needs work. Colors are, at least to me, ugly. Yellow on medium-dark gray and chartreuse buttons? I myself surely don't "REALLY NEED" such a tool, but then again, I don't need 99% of the s

Although something akin to this should occur, I think your post understates the computational enormity of the issue. Many diseases are not caused by single genes or single environmental conditions, but interactions between dozens of genes

In line with several other comments: 1) Programming is not the "the literacy of the 21st century." Come on. It isn't now and it never will be, unless languages evolve to be essentially AIs that you can just request featur

Wow. When I was a kid I typed in, from a book, the sprite graphics code for a balloon and maybe made the world's shortest and lamest adventure game. Times change.

I've done at-home hobbyist development for five years with the neighbors from hell revving exhaust modded beater cars 20-50x/day. I'm drooling at the words "deadly quiet". (And yes I'm leaving here at some po

You should expand the logic to allow the user to press buttons to change the "mode" of interviewer instantly. Say they start off with "Standard", and the voice utters the, "Tell me what your greatest weakness is?&q

I'm thinking of going back to Thunderbird and using that for the client (while keeping the Gmail account as the server). Much saner experience. I agree the new compose is all kinds of wrong.
