I don't think it violates any specific law, but I'm guessing that a prosecutor could come up with some charges if the website hired good enough lawyers. Charges similar to the ones you see for denial of service or computer fraud.

DMCA is more than enough protection than the RIAA and MPAA should ever need. Instead they are going over board and trying to get more and more control.

Stack Programming is the worst at Scope Gerrymandering. They go to some pretty insane lengths to keep stuff "on topic".

This not feasible for two reasons (and many more). Lipo batteries won't last long enough for it to make sense. Carrying server equipment is also not feasible and further reduces battery / gas life.

Can't you do this in Firefox and other browsers too? I thought that was one of the reasons why your browser can be uniquely identified.

It's because they are fans of blizzard and do not apply logic to the situation. They see what is happening, but they've already decided that Blizzard is a good company and wouldn't do it for bad reasons. So they think up facts to support t

LAN is what made Diablo 1 and 2 great, not the "battle.net". This is a step down in features for the consumer (just like the step down in features for Starcraft 2 from 1). There's no reason to paint a rosy picture about it. Last I checked t

Did you actually expect google to be reasonable when it comes to this stuff? They sure as hell aren't reasonable / don't care when it comes to all their other customer service.

Come on now, don't misuse facts. TARP was executed in 2008 and most of it was paid off by the end of 2009. Obama became president in jan 2009.

You're much more likely to get in trouble with the law yourself than gain any benefit out of the situation. IT departments will be quick to blame a "hacker" instead of themselves for the vulnerability.

It's not that no one knows the fine print, it's that the people who get rich of IPOs (financial people) would typically still make money off an IPO which is based on flawed numbers. So the incentive is not there for the financial people to

Awesome site. My wife has Crohn's and I've been thinking how nice it would be to have a site like this. We'll try it out. Also the link in the title is busted, but just going to the domain works.
