React optimization problems are more than just CPU; React encourages lots of little requests in such a way that no amount of computing power can tackle. Coupled with other flawed but popular design antipatterns like skeleton screens, perfor

At the very least, Tesla should pay the author for the time between the hire date through until two weeks after the notice the position was eliminated. Also, it's not like they couldn't use another SWE. Unless the applicant was a

It is most certainly a mode, from a usability standpoint. :q no longer works once in record mode; which fits the definition of modality.

Yeah; With basically everything using q to quit, the inconsistency is infuriating. It would be bad enough if it did nothing, but instead of changes modes that you need to explicitly escape before the real quit works.

"Texas seems to generally recognize that when power is concentrated into a point, that power is almost certainly abused" In this situation, the gun is power, and thus the gun is abused.

You might be able to find a pushing hold but not pushing with your fingers like that keyboard is doing. Pushing away from your body? maybe. Rotating backward toward the back of your hand? No way.

Keys activated by pushing fingers out seems like a trap; there's very little strength in that direction.

I don't know a lot about bank wires except for when I put a down payment on a house. There was a flat rate if I recall, close to $90. Few if any have a credit limit approaching a housing down payment and those rates are percent based I

Also the placeholder text contrast being higher makes it look like actual content in that textbox which is bad, and why placeholder text is discouraged altogether.

Bluetooth 3.0 + HS supports 24mbit, certainly enough for 1.4mbit uncompressed CD audio which likely gets compressed to around 0.7mbit using FLAC or the like. Not sure what HS impact is on energy consumption though.

If you see them weekly, did they really fix anything? If anything, it sounds like they hooked you in for repeat business. When I see a doctor to fix an ailment, it's one and done.

As long as the evidence shows chiropractic results in more strokes and also isn't more effective than doing nothing, then that's all the evidence you need. I have a ~30 year old friend who had a stroke shortly after seeing a chiro

There are definitely bad doctors out there. However, this is, at best, personal anecdote about a single case and hardly evidence of systemic failure of modern medicine nor evidence that chiropractic is effective.

You were probably Doing It Wrong. The default L&F is not good, but its one line of code to select the native L&F. I commented on another post with a few example above.
