Why would it make more sense? It isn't like a car half the size would cost half as much, but it would severely limit the capacity. Now, you can get a waymo for 1-4 people, but if some (or all) were single occupant, you would be limited

This is a very different problem than actual efficiency when mowing a lawn or vacuuming a rub. Turning takes more work and time, and you miss a part of the 'square' when you are turning (the arc of the curve is not a straight line

How do you calculate the effect of caching? Sometimes, I take breaks in the middle of a session and end up losing the prompt cache which drives up the token usage a ton. Don't all the providers have different cache times and behavior?

I don't think anyone is faulting Tailscale for using their blog to advertise, and no one is faulting Tailscale for how they handled this situation in general, or their response to it. The issue is acting like their response is 'br

> If your home 10x’s in value so does your property tax. That depends on where you live. For example, in California we have Prop 13, which limits how much the assessed value for a home can increase without being sold. This means that eve

If you watch the video, there used to be a line of trees that helped block the sound. Then those trees were ripped out to build a loading dock, and the building was converted to crypto miners.

You really just need the noise ordinance to have more teeth... instead of just a perpetual fine, you need to be able to shut them down if they continue to exceed the noise threshold.

I find it interesting that you are expecting a higher success rate (100.00%) for an LLM than you expect with many other things in your life with even costlier consequences. You drive in vehicles that have a much lower than 100.00% rate of n

My reaction seeing this is more "that is an impossible goal". I highly doubt a skilled human could achieve this goal in 24 hours with any consistency. If it was that easy to grow a business, everyone would be doing it. My conclusi

Is the "'shimmering text' for waiting" thing really that recent? I feel like that is a bit older, but maybe I am wrong. I have more and more difficulty remembering how long things have been around as I get older.

Not sure how conclusive this experiment can be. Most startups fail and lose money, and many lie and spam. I feel like you would have to run this experiment a few hundred times to see if it always fails or succeeds at a rate close to human f
