You can only pick up the LIRR from midtown and the Jamaica endpoint is the AirTrain which requires a separate fare and another 10-12 minutes to get to the terminal. Having said that, AirTrain/LIRR is my preferred route into Manhattan

Jet-A that has been combusted doesn't require any lift. Edit: Since I have an aerospace engineering degree, I'll post the 100 level concept. https://web.mit.edu/16.unified/www/FALL/thermodynamics&#

Having seen how the sausage is made, Amazon's internal engineering culture is a textbook example of the principal/agent problem. You only get a raise from a promo, and you only get a promo from scope. It's way easier for ma

It's less the idea and more the simplicity of it. It's a distillation of something that works and lets newer practitioners get their feet wet before moving on to more complex implementation.

It's the principal/agent problem: The overhiring is incredibly difficult to unwind because it led to the creation of empires. Everyone who is not a founder has more incentive to keep the empire because it props up their comp.

A customer service chatbot can require more than one LLM call per response to the point that latency anywhere in the system starts to show up as a degraded end-user experience.

So you're asking for some type of equity that's private? Seriously though, I have seen some very large companies like Tibco and Dell go private for an extended period of time as a means of avoiding shareholder nonsense during rest

Let me inject something as an ex-AWS employee: Amazon doesn't capture very much value from Bedrock inference of the Anthropic models (or, put another way, Amazon gave Anthropic an outsized share of the Claude Bedrock revenue). If it

If you want to target a large area, there’s already cluster munitions and/or thermobarics.

There’s credible evidence that the Shahed is itself a derivative of a late 20th century German drone designed as a loitering anti-radar munition.

It's been a year since I last looked at this, but when I did you could get near-realtime cost metrics for AWS Bedrock via CloudWatch (you get input & output token counts and have to generate the actual price yourself)

I'm at work, so just a few seconds to chime in: Educational spending is primarily sourced from the states. If you were to sum state spending on education, you would come up with another eye-watering pile of money. It's just tha
