Yes, but the headline "Great Design From Nokia", or even Android, is unlikely to make the HN front page.

16 vs. 32GB is more important for the iPad because you're permanently stuck without recourse with that storage forever. Not so with the Surface. Somewhat ironic that someone who was complaining about argument quality missed that key point.

And a similar set of people flag down Paul Thurrotts's http://winsupersite.com so much that it's banned from HN just for being a Microsoft insider. Just because a narrowminded mob does something doesn't make it right.

I presume he did that so that if he got an affirmative answer he could've declared that Microsoft was hiring Apple Store rejects.

Funny, because Paul Thurrott's http://winsupersite.com is completely banned from being on HN, most probably from overzealous MS haters flagging articles to death.

It's because of overzealous flagging of the site because it is a Microsoft watcher site and Paul is usually positive about MS. More details here http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=3408883 Not very surprising, given the makeup of HN.

Interesting. I don't see any of those issues on all four Windows machines I use daily(Work PC, home desktop, laptop, HTPC). There might be something with your setup, network or hardware causing this.

If a story has 50 votes and was posted 5 hours ago, it should be ranked higher than any story that has less than 50 points and was posted more than 5 hours ago. If not, it shows that the story was flagged. Example: http://i.imgur.com/IlAn2
