I agree with many of the things said in the article. I'm so annoyed with people who make open source projects that don't comply to the principles that Zed listed. (Clear code, documentation, easy to get started, reasonable defaults, suppo

I wouldn't take anything he says seriously. [Edit: If it wasn't clear, I meant Arrington, not Jesse]

Our partner, Fusion Garage, had inexplicably decided to simply terminate the partnership over “nothing more than greed, jealousy and miscommunication.” Michael Arrington is simply quoting himself from the previous article about CrunchPad:

Maybe a morale can be: "Start with small projects before going for big ones"? I mean, there are a lot of important lessons you learn when you have a "project from hell", so my reasoning is that the project better be small, so at least the p

You describe this as a "shortcoming" of yours. I don't think it's a shortcoming, I think you got it exactly right. People who always have to get everything 100% right are the ones who need to change their ways.

Those "few people", a.k.a. web developers, are those that are responsible for progress and innovation on the Internet. If they have a problem, the Internet has a problem.

That's a more general, interesting question. Having an expiration date to software is kind of annoying, and I think that it shouldn't be done in general. But , when it comes to browsers, I think this would be so helpful to the progress of

Looks very cool. Of course, I am already fantasizing about it being merged to the main branch. Assuming it will work well, is this something that can get into 3.2? I saw this release schedule for 3.2: http://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-039
