I think since Ford is sending the upgrade USB sticks directly to customers it would now be quite easy for someone with malicious intent to send out fake "upgrade" USB sticks to unsuspecting Ford owners. I'm not sure how dangerous it would b

i completely agree. i didn't mean that it would in any way be wrong, i am just really interested in how they did it, and wanted to look at the source. yet another example of a need for a sarcasm punctuation mark.

I think it's interesting that the idea of deleting an account on a web service is "incomprehensible" (a bit out of context, but still relevant). It's kind of funny how reliant we've become on a few companies and services.

while you may not support the company and it's methods, the point they are trying to make is more honorable: making the dmca more complicated is pointless.

This is a really good article when considering use cases for your users. Sometimes classifying it under 'stupid user syndrome' just isn't good enough, you have to understand that they are not unintelligent, they just don't grasp the same do

very nice idea and execution. might want to make it clearer that the person you're trying to get the file from doesn't need a dropbox account, as that seems to be the big idea behind this.

This would really defeat the purpose of personalized recommendations. The test account was for a quick look at what we offer, not as a long-term solution.

we're working on this right now, actually. We're going to support making arbitrary meal portions. Right now it's hard-coded to only 4.
