I just think that apps / social networks / whatever are usually not replaced by a copy of the same thing. Google+ didn't replace Facebook, Signal didn't replace Whatsapp, Bluesky won't replace Twitter.

The standard lib thing is overblown. What exactly is bothering you? And PHP has deprecated a lot of things along the way.

You just made me realize Copilot does not always refer to (Microsoft's) Github Copilot ... apparently.

I don't know what radio.garden uses but for my radio streaming site I mostly use https://www.radio-browser.info/ that I actually discovered on Hacker News.

Hello I'm the developer of programmes-radio.com (but non-French people should probably use https://www.radio-addict.com instead) (also the website is open source, https://github.com/conradfr/ProgRadio&#

Lite is not available everywhere, also those streaming services basically up their price every year, like we're frogs.

"You still say hello!" - Uncle Leo I agree with the website. It's even worse when you have to do the "how are you?" back and forth before getting to the actual request.

That sounds more like a false good idea that should have been stopped at some point. When I read "liquid glass" and saw a thumbnail of it I thought I was going to be impressed. Well, no. Also that Finder screenshot is hilarious, I

Nitpicking but this page is not practical to share has there's no individual url per post (AFAIK) (the # part is not picked up by Slack etc to generate preview).

Personally I'm pretty happy with Vite + Vue + Typescript (+ whatever for css). I usually don't make a SPA though, only using it for specific parts (with their own entry file).

You're not wrong but there's entire jams on YouTube from people with real gear and no DAW that produce uninteresting synth based music. Yet The Prodigy made good albums entirely with Reason.

I have almost never written macros in my elixir projects. Because I have a hard time even understanding them :) I think they are mostly useful if you write libraries.
