Maybe two years ago I wanted to use LXD on a fresh Ubuntu server (after testing it locally). First they had just moved it to Snap which was not a great install experience compared to good old apt-get, and then all my containers had no IPv4

That's amazing. I'm trying to monetize a site I have but after a few impressions Adsense has left all my slots unfilled since. Of course, you can't contact anybody ... quite frustrating.

Like Instagram and others they have gotten quite hostile to visitors without an account. I guess tracking and monetizing your users earns a lot more than displaying ads for everyone.

They kind of did the "phased way" with Vue 3.1 and the component level compat mode.

Yeah the synced "official ecosystem" was one of Vue's advantages over React but the Vue3 transition has weakened that. First vue-router and vuex were not ready when vue3 was released. Now Evan You says in this very submission

Or don't, if you have a business data model that is more complex than a hello world.

I guess it's a matter of preference because I find writing Javascript tedious, the forced async when not needed, or that for some reason Node doesn't give me a line and a description when I make a mistake, it just ... fails?

Hi Chris, Is there any chance this[0] could be reopened? The problem I have with a JS hook is that if you do a "socket |> push_event() |> push_redirect()" the hook is actually destroyed before writing the cookie. Currently I

Coincidentally I also released recently a LiveView side project (that got zero traction on Show HN ;) that involves uploading audio files. People are often afraid about the latency but I must say although visitors from all over the world us

Your project seems to do more but, for a small framework that only needs a small script to work, petite-vue[0] is an alternative. [0] https://github.com/vuejs/petite-vue

Safari sucks because it's only available on macOS. It's really annoying when doing web development, especially as that's actually the browser that has the most chance to act different from the others.

Well there's still radio! You have a vast amount of professional and amateur radios at your disposal thanks to api like radio-browser.info [0] which many sites and mobile apps use. In fact I do such a site myself [1] (but I'm not

Back then they were looking for any new technology that would help make clean recordings. Nowadays audio professionals are looking for any new technology that will help imprint the analog artifacts of these years on the clean digital record

Maybe it's more duck and cover in the face of lava like in South Park. It seems active / non-retired people will have a hard time avoiding it but after all the current wave will stop like the others so maybe I'm wrong.

Same here (not a company but some paying users) but with CapRover. Multiple webapps (Symfony, Phoenix, Magento) on a 20€/m OneProvider server. Databases backups are done by a cron bash script which uploads to a ftp. It works fine, only
