The firmware of the gsm-modem, called the baseband, can be updated by the service-providers at any-time. Triggering any kind of exploit of the user OS is trivial then. Heck, you don't even need to think as complicated as that, looking

Welp, the metapackage's just called ssh, which is also the name of the command the client provides. Another case of "only two problems in computer science ..." Due diligence on my part was lacking, agreed.

Yes, a desktop computer is a complex system, that's why I leave these not entirely trivial plumbings to the system programmers. The downside of this is the exploited systems that potentially everyone has to suffer.

To make matters worse, the debian openssh .deb, that i installed to get the client, configured an autostart for sshd, without asking.

Is that the sum of ( -1 )^n / ( n! ) or ( ( -1 )^n / n )! and maybe the tranformation is trivial, but why does this equal e^(-1)? Edit: I guess the factorial of a fraction doesn't make much sense.

Counterpoint: the more personally involved you become with someone, the more you are expected to devote your attention because it's getting easier as the number of participants in the social interaction decreases.

I think you mixed up the complexity and cognitive demand of many to many and one on one relations, in the second sentence. You present an intriguing idea, anyway.

Well of course but you need to know what you are doing in C as well. Isn't the point just, a lot of people do, as compared to Haskell? Granted, the C compilers make a difference, too.

Artificial Scarcity is one strategy to drive prices. There's the real effect of scarcity, as from a region lock, and the psychological effect of having to decide quickly before an item is sold out. Buy now, only three left!!! Price
