The fix for the dynamic screen brightness is to flash a firmware that dell provides for the HIDPI display. If you have the 1080p display, you are out of luck.

The broadcom wireless cards are garbage even on windows. My 9350 came with one, and it caused issues with the thunderbolt dock and other type c devices.

I agree that things like DirecTV now is the future. As long as those services are owned by companies that have traditional cable/satellite/fiber services, they are going to try to upsell or limit these services.

When I was using bitdefender, this was the first setting I disabled after installing it. Bitdefender also has a slew of other issues, including BSODing after installation.

Yes, I've been using it for a couple of years. It has a decent UI to spinning up a variety of VPN configurations.

For people (like my parents) who open way to many tabs, this will be a big help. Obviously there are a ton of caveats.

True, but the chrome plugin has issues (something to do with the native messaging executable not working): https://github.com/dannyvankooten/browserpass/issues/28

HP ALM is awful. The biggest issue is that you needed to install it on the client machine to be used as a plugin. I would rather have Atlassian products than HP ALM and Clearcase!
