Nice! I wrote one called maths a while back. It's in Ruby but I use it pretty regularly and it does the trick: https://github.com/commondream/maths

> So are people expected to work 40 hours/week or not? Folks are expected to work 32 hours per week, although if you get technical and throw in PTO and holidays they're actually expected to work 28.9 hours per week.

We used to rotate, but now we have one awesome person on support Friday to Monday to make sure our students always get great support with a quick turnaround.

We don't really have fancy meeting rules, if that's what you're asking. Our team does a great job overall of keeping them as short as possible and staying the right amount of focused, but not too focused. It's always fun

It's a balance though, right? Sometimes I'm still tired at 6AM when I wake up and I have to get out of bed and do things anyway. Then other times I'm tired at 4PM and I just give up and go home. I think you've got to do

Yep. Turning your brain off is impossible, and your brain's the most critical piece of you in a lot of these roles. If we counted thought time I'm not sure how many hours I'd log each week, but it'd be well above 32.

Just to be clear, a lot of our company logs their hours from home in cities where we have no office. We've about 30 people in Portland, 20 in Orlando, and 30 remote. In all cases folks can work from home unless they absolutely need to

Oh, on the work from home part, most of our developers and designers do. Because we have a video training service, though, we still shoot in the office, and some of us go into the office just because we like that environment (I'm one o

I don't stand over the team with a stopwatch, but it's something I try to keep a pulse on and I don't think most of our folks "work well over 40 hours." Most do probably end up over 32 though, I'd say.
