It would be nice if you did not initiate a download on my behalf when I merely visit the "download" page via the main navigation. I would expect at least prompt for confirmation before you push a 180 MB binary to me.

Of course it is "just" a matter of time discipline. Unsurprisingly it is harder to pull off when there are fewer significant external cues, such as physical separation of workplace and private space. At the office, I'm remind

It is not the same. Dividends reward continued investors who also have a bigger incentive to care about long term health of the corporation. Buybacks reward those who deinvest (sell shares).

Is that at all surprising when you have corporate execs, hedge funds and private investors reaching into the cookie jar, not with one hand, but with both and shovel out the money into their bank accounts? “The biggest U.S. airlines spent 96

I would say Quiver targets the same problem space. There’s some overlap and there are some healthy differences. I didn’t mention it to propose it as an alternative, but to illustrate that “expensive” is not just about absolute cost. https:

If you are going to use it as a knowledge base, you are probably looking at a few years of use. Currently the closest match to this software I have installed is Quiver. Let’s compare costs over a period of 5 years: Quiver: $9.99 Obsidian: $

Sad to see that the only way to use it for work related note taking is a subscription. I know a lot of people will just ignore the license and happily use the personal or catalyst version, but I wish there was something in between the $0 o

What about it caused this feeling? Creating a bug report with Jira can be as simple as filling in a summary and a (optional) description, then click submit. If you use issue collectors, you may not even need an account in the system or dire

The strength and problem of Jira is that you can model the most absurd organisational processes with it. There are a bunch of oddities in the UI that don’t help it much (like having 4 different interaction patterns for sorting list items),
