I think we’ll need to rethink what it means to be “skilled.” Fewer people will write every line of code themselves, but more will need to understand systems end-to-end, ask the right questions, and guide AIs to meaningful outcomes. AI isn’t

So what’s the actual endgame here? If these agents eventually get full browser access, then whoever controls the browser effectively controls everything that we do online. Today, most of these "AI agents" are really just browser e

Yeah, this is not possible in iOS because there is no equivalent of Accessibility services for apps to control other apps behavior. Not sure what OP is running waitlist for, my guess is a combination of screen time + focus modes + content b

Very cool. Primes have such an irregular yet structured distribution, and mapping them to pitches is a clever way to make that hidden pattern audible.

Probably because scrolling feels harmless, while smoking never really did. The surprise is in the mismatch.

It won't be a musical scale if mapped directly to Hz (maybe sine wave mapping?). For example, prime 2 → 2 Hz (inaudible), 101 → 101 Hz (deep bass), 1009 → ~1 kHz (bright tone). Right now the app just maps primes to MIDI notes so they s

This is one of those things that should be unnecessary if we all had perfect self-control, but the reality is these apps are engineered explicitly to bypass that. It feels a bit silly to need guardrails for something as trivial as scrolling

I think this could work if it was more than just a static site with no description page. Give it description pages with gallery, reviews etc.

To put it bluntly, the current state of AI often comes down to this: describing a problem in plain English (or your local language) vs writing code. Say, “Give me the stock status of an iPhone 16e 256GB White in San Francisco.” I still have

Search is bad everywhere these days. Honestly, even Google search with "terms reddit" is better than Reddit's own built-in search. That says a lot. Same deal on may mac. Unless I know the exact file name, Finder search is use

I hear this argument often. Subways require billions in infrastructure and over 20 years of lead time. And they operate on fixed routes. Additionally, robotaxis and Waymo-style systems are trying to replace the private car and on-demand rid

I think “we might decode whale speech or ancient languages” is a huge stretch. Context is the most important part of what makes language useful. There is billions of human-written texts, grounded in shared experience that makes our AI good

Not sure if you mean LA-LA proper, but Orange County is definitely cheaper. Of course, it depends on where you work. I used to commute from Irvine to Santa Monica, and that drive was hell.
