230 would be okay if the user had the ability to choose the algorithm that determines what content that user sees. That was one of the early ideas for Twitter when Musk took over. Could even have external, independent “filter providers”.

In software development, it probably in creases earning potential, because you can outsource all the tedious coding to the AI and have more time to manage the big picture of how your software interacts with other components, is optimized f

This is a discussion from 2005. By now it’s become pretty clear that it’s not possible to preemptively defend against this. There are a bazillion gTLDs and on large social media sites display names are not unique.

OnlyGPT. GPTfans. Whoever operates it can keep all the simp payments and doesn’t need to share with the sex workers. Just needs an LLM that tells the simps how funny and special they are.

Why does Microsoft’s LLM call it “hacking” when a user creates certain prompts to make answer more truthfully? We should be very careful not to accept and use that kind of language for that kind of activity.

It just goog… ehm bings your question and then summarizes what the resulting web pages say. Works well, but ChatGPT works much better.

Swearing while coding: “Who the f#ck wrote this code, looks like cr#p, what the… oh, I wrote that five years ago… why the f #ck did I write it like that, that makes no sense, what the… oh, that’s why! …”

I’m always logged into Jira and Confluence. And if not, the browser has the password stored, so an unknown host would be obvious.

If any e-mail contains a link to a login webpage, I treat it as a Phishing attempt. Only ever log in on the page you have bookmarked.

Sadly, many Western governments got “inspired” by the CCP, I agree. Though what happened in China was on a completely different level. But I hope that in the coming years, western societies will investigate government actions during the Cov

Assuming that these armed people actually broke the law, that’s the better move then. Otherwise there would be a huge outbreak of violence. But that’s not really comparable to lawful protests.

You are underestimating the threat that CCP China is, not just to Europe but to the entire world.

Just like in China with the anti-lockdown protests. The people who are recognisable on social media posts from the protests have all been arrested by now. They waited just long enough to make people forget about it before they picked them u

Never trust any company or hardware. Either can fail you at any moment. Always keep your own backup. Still sucks though.

I disagree. Because AI content isn’t all the same. Take a ChatGPT algorithm and train it on funny texts v. train it on enraging texts, for example. The goal will be to train an AI that writes the most engaging and addictive content for the

This is something that should be done regularly by health insurers. And maybe even by some sort of government agency that supervises the health industry.

Get a /etc/hosts file that blocks access to ad domains and never see ads on Yt or any other site. Without the need to grant any script access to the content of your browser.

I don’t. Instead I use a /etc/hosts file. Much better imo, because I don’t have some external script that has access to the content and input of all my web pages.
