It's not just American breakfast, almost everything has way too much sugar in it. I've been in the US for almost 4 years. And for the most part i've gotten used to the sugar and salt. But it still surprises me time to time. O

Most likely, but then someone will have to communicate with the AI's. Specialized knowledge will always be valued. You'll just have to learn how to leverage that by communicating with an AI. Maybe then the upper middle class will

My theory is that the max output of the average worker has been eclipsed by an order of magnitude by people who can communicate with the 21st century machines. i.e programmers. Programmers are just modern day factory workers. They are lever

A lot of what you said is just not true. Israel takes a lot of West Bank water. And while the illegal jewish settlements might not be a sovereign claim by Israel. Israel isn't doing anything to stop them.

Looking back I find it hard to believe it was necessary to format and reinstall windows all the time. But I guess I haven't used Windows in about 10 years either. When everything is a black box and broken as hell there's not much

Interesting. A search in chrome://net-internals/#hsts for Google does indeed show the public key pinning. I guess they do own Chrome and could get their public key hashes baked into other browsers too.

Google doesn't do certificate pinning with HPKP. So nothing stopping a despot country from using certs signed by a valid CA. And of course there are compromised CA's. The US is just smart enough not to do this for mass collection,

This is super irresponsible to have on HN. Not funny. Especially for people who live in despot countries. Not sure if the USA counts quite yet.

You're missing the point/s. This is starting technology. Very rarely does something revolutionary start out more efficient and cost effective than the old way. Not to mention this project in its current status is aimed at hobbyist

You have to use your hands? That's a babies toy! Seriously though. People are too lazy to use their hands to navigate an invisible interface. It's a lot more work than using a mouse and keyboard.

This tool is the solution. I don't think you're going to live in a static would anytime soon, where programming languages and packages do not change over time.

Everyone is blowing the "micropackages are the problem" completely out of proportion. The real problem with the left-pad fiasco is that someone was able to revoke a package other people depended on. Packages should be immutable.

That is one outcome, assuming China tries to repay their debts. And as you are aware that hasn't worked out very well for Japan. If I was China and shit hits the fan, I would declare bankruptcy. It would hurt everyone but a shock like

You should do a blog post. I had no idea Elastic Beanstalk allows multiple docker containers per instance. This changes EVERYTHING! I would love to hear how you got this all tied together.

No, students should remember 90-95%. Of course it is impossible to retain 100%, this is not what I expect. Assessment would happen at a granular level and retaken as many times as required. If a student fails the assessment, they can relear

You are right that students should know how to learn. This should to taught outside of this assessment model. But the assessment doesn't have to only assess facts. The assessment can also include complex problems; it would however requ

This is true, but the assessments are very small (10min-30min of learning content assessed) that can retaken as many times as required until the student knows the content.

Your first point is a concern. Maybe there can be some kind of "social class time" where students spend time with kids their own age. Since they are learning more efficiently there is probably time for this :). Re your second poin
