No stupid questions time, but given all languages, would an array based language like J be a decent choice for building a database from scratch? I mean, tables seem like doubly indexed arrays. In my mind it wouldn't be readable but it&

Design has always been painfully slow for me as well, despite the ease with which I can implement a design handed to me. If you actually do want to get good at design I recommend just building five or ten nonfunctional web designs based on

Yes. I know newspapers sell ads. And I'm familiar with the fact that journalists may have biases and special interests. I never said anyone should put their full faith in newspapers. But they're certainly better edited than the Fa

Hmm, I'm not sure they're just a scapegoat. I think there's very serious concerns to a society which seems to consume most of it's media as curated by AI and their online friends as opposed to say, a newspaper editor. Es

I think messages aren't mined for advertising at this point. Doesn't mean that won't change, but their current policy states it isn't happening now. Secret messages can't be harvested, but aren't portable betwe

FB messenger is probably more secure than SMS, especially if you use secret conversations (although you lose portability of conversations this way). Signal and iMessage are my favorites personally.

I don't believe that's true in the most recent versions. I just set up a headless pi with wpa_supplicant in the boot partition of a raspbian lite image that worked well a week or so ago.

This seems like it would be super useful prior to Raspbian Stretch for developers using Apple products. Prior to stretch the wpa_supplicant.conf file needed to be modified in the main Raspbian partition which is inaccessible on the unix mac

I think the idea is that by writing less buggy code with two people you save in refactoring, bug squashing, and fire management down the road. Similar to testing I suppose. No idea how the math works out in the end, I assume it'd be hi
