Unfortunately I don't think most people will care. The vast majority of users don't comment, and few ever figure out if they or their submissions are shadow banned. If someone tries to make a replacement that fixes all the issues

This looks like a standard crack-me. Most programmers don't need to know how to do this. As it says in the blog he is applying for a security position. It all comes down to how well you can translate assembly code.

Well I saw it pop up twice within a matter of minutes. Popups cause a huge break in my concentration especially when I am coding so it is unusable to me.

Well first of all, the game appeared to be playable, so there's the piracy aspect. The Source engine is also licensed to other games. If the code is public, other engines could copy their features. Also it is very annoying to re-secure

I don't feel sorry for malware writers. They are not oppressed and deserve what they got. And this guy also stole people's software keys. If they were talented coders, they could've found less destructive ways to make money.

Please put a strong rate limit on the dns server to prevent it from being used for ddos attacks. The last thing the internet needs is more clueless users with dns servers.

If you put your configuration files on github then someone can figure out which IPs they can ddos. The problem with a non-vetted protocol is that it could have flaws.

Of course if you manage to get a template setup it is easy. But now that I haven't setup tinc for awhile I have no idea how to do it again and the examples are horrible. Every node needs to have a copy of every other node's config
