I need to look at how pack is implemented, maybe I'm missing something. I already used this to install guile 2.2 on a debian machine, so I'm excited for this development. But to clarify my point - instead of all the content hashes

Andrei left fb in 2015 - probably due to their lack of commitment to D & his F stocks doing well.

Wouldn't this all be a bit easier if the hashes in guix/nix were relative to some global destination store location, rather than /nix or /guix?

Personally, I've found that if I put something on my calendar that I don't do, it really starts to spoil my calendar. When I "trust" my calendar, I eventually have become able to put something on there, at a specific tim

Think of Org-mode as more of a multi-language ipython notebook, where anything (plantuml, ditaa, python, etc) can be used, along with a data interchange format (org-mode vars + tables). It can literally "do" any tool you use that

I can really only be cynical about this announcement, hoping to convince a few more firefox users to switch to chrome instead of supporting the open web.

Human driven cars have a bicycle problem as well. Humans aren't very good at predicting or seeing them either in dense urban areas. Grade separation is the way to go!

Why would one? What community would spend time preparing for someone, literally overnight, to have more wealth and leverage than your entire community as a whole?

Conn 79H Trombone. Just gorgeous sound, beautiful design, and even the trombone case just seemed right. Still love it.

Yes! I think some of the changes they made ~2007/2008 in their interior design were huge leaps in front of most other cars IMHO.

Please let me know if you do get around to releasing it! I think scheme is woefully underrated as something that can be used for "real work", especially with something like chez. You can find my email or other contact info through

I think it may be faster to just port, though are there larger libraries that Arc depends on in Racket that you'd also have to significantly port?

It's not that it needs to be equally capable in each way - you need something that is more degradable and ecologically sensible for each specific case.

There are keyboards that force AES-128 and don't fall back IIRC microsoft makes some. A USB keyboard is almost certainly easier to secure though.
