Can downvoters provide some input? It seems contradictory article author is in front page, but at the same time author's comments are downvoted.

Yes. Strength training, especially back and shoulder exercises such as deadlifts, rows and shoulder press. I'd advice doing whole body training though, rather than focusing on posture only. I've tried a posture brace before. It he

I have written multiple applications with Qt, GTK, JavaFX and your blog post is spot on, on everything I read. This is a very high quality post. It shows you really worked on learning the frameworks, as opposed to writing a superficial post

You haven't suffered worse tools. Have you ever heard of Lotus Notes / Lotus Sametime? It's not great, but in the corporate space, Teams does an OK job, and MS is a reputable company for B2B.

Meh, the price now is what it was in October of last year. Not really the greatest. I did rebalance my portfolio a bit, but I'm sitting tight waiting for better opportunities.

Unpopular opinion: I'd rather have classes that have precise meanings such as in Java. ArrayList, HashMap, TreeMap. Having classes with ambiguous names makes it seem like a toy language.

Please don't attack the man, attack the argument. Writing snarky remarks is uncalled for and not pleasant to read on this forum.

I applaud you for reading the dragon book. It's a pretty tough book to read.

I've been doing HIIT for a while. Always very intense and I end up demolished and definitely not feeling better afterwards, just really tired. I asked my trainer if it ever gets any easier, in his words, "No, you just get stronger

A good therapist can help you manage stress levels and give you tools to manage your particular situation. Some tools are breathing techniques, learn how to communicate with management, learn how to push back and learn why you aren't d

I wish all fans use the pi temperature sensor to regulate speed. I got one with the CanaKit and it doesn't. My OCD kicks in when I can hear the fan running all day long.

Most maddening thing I've seen is PM translating agile points to man-hours because that's what upper management requests. Same people: you must complete assignments in the estimated time, or else, be prepared to work overtime in

Might or might not be true. But I'd say producing good diagrams is implicitly mandatory if you want to advance your career. I didn't use them much as an individual contributor, but as a lead, I rely on them all the time to communi

It would be nice to take your email address to another provider, the same way it happens for cellphone numbers. This could be email 2.0... First rule: 1)Do not require host name in the field name. johndoe@gmail.com becomes johndoe.

I've been developing C++ for 10+ years. I think the pain is unfairly attributed to Qt. A lot of the pain actually comes from the poor tooling in the C++ world. Conan is supposed to come to the rescue, but after attempting to use it, it
