It's probably a bad idea to say "X is wrong" when you haven't done enough market research. OP seems to think he's invented some completely new way of doing things but i wonder if he's seen things like: - Mithri

This is a brilliant piece of work. As someone who has thousands of tabs open, I've always wanted to "close all tabs with a single command", or view all the open tabs and mass select them and close, for years. Otherwise, going

Like what? The main purpose of jQuery was to have a unified API for dealing with the issue of every browser having their own quirky implementation of the web standard. All of those are gone today and we now have a pretty much standardized J

You don't need jQuery. Every problem jQuery solved has been standardized into native javascript so you can just use Javascript to build web apps. For example instead of $(".button"), you can do document.querySelector(".b

The point is, what Urbit is trying to do is create a new hierarchy while talking shit about the existing hierarchy. This is no different from how the French revolution participants overthrew the government, just to form their own toxic regi

These ideas are already being obsoleted as we speak by various edge computing approaches like Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare, etc. It's not there yet and these are just the low level building blocks but I'm sure we are getting there,

I don't think any amount of alcohol would help. You need acid. At this point it's almost like scientology. It uses "tech" as a front to attract gullible people to pay up.
