Yes and No. What percentage of the rain ended up back in the ocean? Suspect a very small percentage of rain actually ends up being used by humans. You just need enough for the water that ends in taps or in the garden/farm. I'm not

How many XXB/year companies start off making XXB/year or have clear visibility to XXB/year near-term? For example, I doubt the AirBNB founders early-on and/or 5-10 years ago even imagined they'd have multiple billio

But does the 1 million dollar missile cost 1 million to build a second one? Often times military cost per unit factors in a fixed R&D cost. It doesn't necessarily mean it literally cost 1 million in parts and labor to assemble the

Toronto is expensive given the amount jobs are paying in the area. SF a condo might be 1M, but getting paid 250k+ for a job is fairly common. In Toronto the condo might be 1M (CAD), but getting paid 250k+ CAD is not common. By all accounts

Cheap solar in the west (California, Arizona, Nevada) coupled with desalination plants. We'll be fine for *urban/residential* water needs for the foreseeable future.

The cost of manufacturing 10,000 lidar units is much different than the cost/unit for a batch of 10,000,000 units. Just look at EVs and the drop in battery cost over the years. Lidar being cheap at scale is just a matter of when, not i
