This reminds me of "How a Web Design Goes Straight to Hell" [1] by The Oatmeal. It's a different moral, of course; basically, don't trust the client more than you need to. [1] http://theoatmeal.com/comics

Given the huge feature gains in vanilla JS over the past few years (and in particular, the past year via ES6), I think we'll see more people shedding frameworks altogether. At least for the common tasks that were accomplished / ma

This looks pretty interesting. Could someone give me a good use-case for this? I suppose spinning up dev environment on a host other than localhost could be useful? I could also see this being useful as an interface for multiple docker-inst

I see what you're saying about the table filtering! Very slick. Dragging columns around feels very fluid. Great work, I think I might have to go ahead and purchase this one!

This is a nice guide on setting up integration with a PostgreSQL database from Node. I've come across a few projects recently that make similar attempts, as an ORM: Bookshelf: http://bookshelfjs.org/ Sequelize: http:&

I would suggest trying Vyvanse[1] instead of Adderall. It's available by prescription and, being an amphetamine, is schedule II (meaning there are rules on how much you're allowed to have at one time, I think 30/month). Never

It's actually somewhat of a theme in the node community to prefix your project name with 'node-', e.g. [1]. In this case, however, Mozilla is still going against that custom by also prefixing the package name itself with

Looks useful! Could you provide an example of a field with validations depending on the value (or validation status) of another field? E.g., birth_month required if birth_year is set and after a certain year.

We use it for nearly everything. We use it because it's easily portable, easily configurable and extendable, and it has a very pleasant API. It's also pretty fast.

Trying it out now. So far, I am enjoying how clean the interface is. It really feels like a glorified TODO list (or TODO list manager), but I do think that there is potential here. I would recommend adding features that separate it from the

That's intense and really quite silly. It makes sense to modularize large or complex (or some better modifier?) portions of the code base, but there's a point at which it just becomes too deep of a rabbit hole. I don't believ

I like this idea since it solves the issue of easily persisting things you may want to keep around, but wouldn't it limit the types of things you can persist (e.g. can you easily persist ideas/snippets this way)?

This is the area where I feel that Atlassian's SourceTree really shines. It is still an effective tool for manipulating git with a GUI, but the git branching display is insanely useful.

There are of course more functional approaches to delaying execution of code in Javascript, e.g. by using a callback (which this library supports).

Can I view the source of the actual program? If not, it doesn't serve much purpose to say that all the cryptographic libraries you use are open-source. Let me see the source and then I'll see about trying your product. As an aside
