There's nothing you cand do and nobody will sue you. They can use other methods to grab the data, if they really wanted to. It's not as if you'll be completely secure if you don't use Amazon's services.

Yes. Well the web doesn't have a native UI. But iOS and Android DO have one.

We're not talking about games here, we're talking about regular apps, with a regular UI, which needs to be native. Otherwise it sucks.

Sure, but blowing the cache just to count is nuts.

I think everyone will agree that using 4 bytes to store the size a much better idea than potentially enumerating millions of nodes just to count them, in the process completely blowing the cache and any optimizations the processors may do.

So why don't you get the drivers directly from AMD, Intel or NVIDIA, as appropriate? Don't rely on computer manufacturers to supply up to date drivers.

ASP.NET`s performance can be improved further, but that requires application specific tuning. That said, it's pretty damn good, for a full framework. I'm impressed by the Java options. Definitely something to consider if absolute

Thank you very fucking much Google. 4.2 and 4.3 trashed the experience for GNex users, now that 4.4 is "butter smooth" again it ain't coming to the phone. Excellent God bless CyanogenMod.

C# has had type inference for a long while. It's a pain using Java, which doesn't. C# also sort of implements type classes. For your example, there's IComparable in C#; implement it and a List<SomeObject> can be directl

The UI in MonoDevelop / Visual Studio will show the differences during autocomplete. Also, fields should NEVER be public in a class.

Those cases are inherently platform specific and are impossible to abstract completely. UI for example. Pure Java UIs plain suck; you can use Gtk# in C# for the same thing, but none will be up to the platform's UI standards. Besides, t

All of this is just the symptom of not providing a goddamn good service. If these media companies would provide a good service DRM wouldn't make sense even in their minds. But no, they're stuck in the dark ages, with their heads u

DigitalOcean is small... Windows Azure does not support multiple IPs except for hosted websites. Cloud Services or Virtual Machines get only one IP. And dedicated IPs for websites are extremely expensive.

To be fair few IDEs support advanced functionality (like refactoring) with C++, due to the monstrosity that it is and the amount of UB. Visual Studio + ReSharper is awesome for C#, IntelliJ is awesome for Java. For C++ you're pretty mu
