Wow, very entertaining promotional video. I wasn't expecting to enjoy sitting through a promo video, but this was very nice. Good job!

These are all really great points. It looks like #1 has been addressed, but #2 and #3 are definitely huge problems that I wish weren't so common :/ Hopefully UserVoice considers it.

The user interface in the admin panel looks very nice, I like it! I was also pleasantly surprised by the pricing.

I love doing this. I often quit for the day and then pull out a notebook and fill up a page with ideas for new features, solving a problem, etc. I normally can't think of ideas like that while I'm in TextMate and I'm thinking of how to tran

How is this any different from those sites that scrape content from Stack Overflow and Wikipedia and slap ads on it? I realize that reblogs are a legitimate part of Tumblr, but most blogs create at least some original content.

If you're referring to the actual process of installing apps over-the-air, see this article explaining it: http://www.readwriteweb.com/mobile/2010/12/apple-best-kept-s...

It's easy until I hit a problem with the UI that needs to be addressed. That's really my weak spot.

This is one of the biggest reasons I don't use DuckDuckGo yet. Seems trivial, but for me it's certainly a barrier to entry. I'd say the second biggest reason is the annoying user interface (gaudy effects like large lime green backgrounds wh

I'm curious, what is the career path and salary looking like for people in these situations as time progresses? For example, someone at Facebook who might be paid $120k, how much higher is their salary going to get as they get older and mor

Wow, really? First of all, 37signals DID step out of their comfort zone by using Erlang rather than Ruby for their backend to handle sending chat messages out to clients. Secondly, I was under the impression that BankSimple was essentially

The reason Apple included these gestures in the beta was so that developers could test them and see how they function when used inside of their apps. The kinks in third-party apps will hopefully get worked out if there are any.

The future is heterogeneous Platform as a Service (for example, http://dotcloud.com/ ) in my opinion. I can't imagine going back to Heroku where I can only host Ruby along with a selection externally hosted add-ons.

I don't think I'll be switching to Verizon, but this competition is great. Hopefully it will wake AT&T up and this current nightmare will end.

I don't understand autho.me, how is it supposed to be better than OpenID? In my opinion, it's worse than OpenID because with OpenID you can at least throw up a webpage at http://openid.yourcustomdomain.com/ and just edit a few meta tags w

Gmail and contacts syncing works great on iPhone. It uses Exchange to do all of the syncing, and it's quite fast. I had to get my phone exchanged, and all of my contacts and emails were synched in a few minutes after I got the new phone. No

Yeah, basically what you do is configure how often you want Redis to sync to the disk. You define a period of time and a number of records, and if that amount of time passes and that number of records have been changed, it saves to the disk
