Is Apple forcing you to use Reminders, Notes, Messages, etc? I don't quite follow how your Mac Pro suddenly feels like a phone now.

If you look at the screenshot of the home screen, you'll notice that this is not an Android device and thus has no Android widgets. So, no, that's not "all this is doing".

I was surprised about this too. I was expecting a fight after seeing countless unboxing videos featuring people that simply couldn't open it without shredding it with scissors. I cut the two pieces of tape with a knife, and then held the to

I'll admit, the new-ish built-in web server in PHP is fantastic and it definitely makes me want to use PHP more often. Configuring Apache, setting up virtual hosts, fixing directory permissions, etc. was horrible. Composer also looks cool,

Oh, the computers look very nice, but they're a direct response to what Apple puts out. The Thin+Light machine is yet another Ultrabook that competes with the Macbook Air, keeping in mind that the Macbook Air was introduced in 2008 and the

I don't understand the belief that minimalist design is obvious and that everyone else totally would've designed it the same way. It's almost like when someone walks up to a work of art and remarks that they easily could've done it themselv

Atlassian Stash? It's obviously focused on just repository hosting and it's not "$250/year", but the prices are certainly a lot lower than what GitHub charges.
