I feel this way about certifications in general. I work with tons of Microsoft and Cisco certified people and the basic computer science errors they make has be doubting the value of those certifications.

You can't really say that without knowledge of how high those additional taxes would be. If the costs rise to the point that a reasonable profit for the level of risk involved can't be made then prices would certainly have to rise

Demand is only so elastic, things can only be mispriced for so long until it corrects. I suspect that it will correct once the stock market stays up for some time and the existing workforce begins to retire.

That is the marginal tax rate not the effective rate, it was really about 30% - 40% depending on how you were set up. Now its about 20% - 25% effective rate.

The real question is why work for so little money? The federal minimum wage is $7.25, tipped employees can make less per hour but only if the tips exceed the minimum wage for that time, but that isn't the real wage floor consider Walma

If you want to control disclosure of a bug why not offer large sums of money in exchange for an NDA? "Report it to us, keep quiet for 30 days and we'll pay you 100k." Would be a motivator few would turn down.
