Happy to go into a bit more detail on this. As I said in my first post, I shouldn't have accepted 40 to start with. I had received an offer for 55 at another company that fell through when they had a hiring freeze, so I was getting a b

Off-topic, I'm sorry but I just can't help it, the aggressive modal that pops up instantly when you view Medium enough as a non-signed in user drives me away instantly. I can't imagine continuing to post content on a platform

I'll get the ball rolling. This is my personal blog: https://lusmo.re I've overhauled the style recently inspired a lot by the simplicity of Butterick's Practical Typography[0]. It's all hand-written HTML and

I love this movement towards simpler, lighter websites. I also took huge inspiration from Practical Typography when styling my blog[0], which is all hand-written HTML/CSS with the absolute bare minimum of JS (and the site works fine wi

Good idea, thanks for the suggestion. I have thought about whipping up a version of ghp in a couple of different languages as a comparison - I originally wrote it in C#.

This is awesome. You might want to add "Printed" to the front of your title, because I've seen quite a few ASCII art projects before and almost skipped over this, but the fact that it's printed is quite novel to me at le

Sorry, to be clear the tool is designed to make it easier to locally test your static HTML GitHub Pages repos, where things like a `/about` link will not resolve in the context of your filesystem and likely also won't know to chec

Thanks for sharing that, I'll give it a look. I think that http.ServeFile handles content type automatically, because when I test this locally I'm seeing Content-Type in the response headers.

That's a fair point. Previous iterations of my GitHub Pages used Jekyll and I used that at the time to test it, but I recently switched to plain-old-HTML and honestly it didn't occur to me that Jekyll would still work for testing

That's a great question. Although I don't encourage anybody to expose this to any network they don't trust, it was a concern. I was previously passing the incoming path directly to ServeFile[1] which handles this, although I
