What headset did you try? I imagine that text rendering would improve with the quality of the screens, which have been getting better.

It looks like they put extra effort into making the Meta Quest Pro comfortable. Do you think those straps would need replacing? If so, do such straps already exist?

I've only ever found this to be effective when I'm typing what I'm reading verbatim. Are you able to type something other than you're reading? How do you scroll?

Asking "Are you talking about cheeseburgers" is my favorite advice in this thread. Trying to learn it from Google Translate now, thanks!

I've brought up before that I've given "no hire" recommendations based on a candidate's inability to speak English, and my coworkers seemed shocked.

Our immediate team doesn't have a TL or PM in our office unfortunately. If either of them were to bring it up, it would be obvious that someone complained.

The Strap 3 is marketed for music listening, so I would imagine it would be workable? I've yet to try any of their stuff, though. The appeal seems to be around ease of use, and the targeted chest vibrations. And the ButtKickers are pur

I'd check out the Woojer Strap/Vest [0] or maybe the ButtKicker [1] from the article if you're ok with being seated. I have stereo ButtKicker Concerts on my couch and they're awesome. [0] https://www.woojer.co

This past year, I've taken to throwing all of my plastic waste directly in the trash. It saves me time from trying to figure out if it's compostable or recyclable (god forbid I get it wrong) and gives me back a tinge of guilt

you can do both simultaneously if you count ranked ballots like an election office would: you throw away all tied rankings, and rankings that come after :)

Isn't Borda Count just Score voting where you enforce that voters can't give two options the same amount of support? I would be curious why people would prefer Borda over Score if so.

Distributed chess games. One team uses ranked choice, the other uses approval. Seattle will be voting to adopt one of the two for city primaries next month, and it would be sweet way to pit the two systems against each other.
