Congrats on presenting a diamond-alternative to her. The diamond trade is absolutely disgusting and unfortunately many people seem to equate "love" with a shiny rock. If it came down to it, I would have to reevaluate marrying someone that r

Disagree. It's been one privacy blunder after the next- each further tarnishing the reputation of the company and service. If you find oversharing, memes and cat pics valuable, then yes it's "valuable."

Why? Because one needs to be 18 to legally sign a contract. If you had a credit card before 18, that means you were added on your parents account as an authorized user and you were piggybacking off of their credit history. The greater probl

Yeah, Sony's requests were regarding the tools that, at the time, could make any PS3 crackable from official firmware. A year later they have all those old PS3's off the shelves and none have firmware 3.55 or lower, so they appear to not ca

Why do people still think compete, quantcast, alexa, etc are accurate when they don't have tracking pixels installed on the sites they're showing traffic for?

Let's get one thing straight: these are not products, they're services. Nobody is producing anything here.

Transmit doesn't seem that outstanding to me either. I've also found that FTP clients on Mac are missing a nice feature found on many Windows clients: multi-part (accelerated) transfers.

Whenever I think about Facebook and the vast number of people using it, that quote is all I can remember. Are people too dumb to care about their own privacy or do they just not care?

I wish that Safari on iPad had a plugin functionality for things like adblock and noscript. Sometimes web browsing can be excruciatingly slow from all the scripts and ads on websites. Luckily there is an option to turn off JavaScript but th

So much for that spectacular business model that revolutionizes local business. The Groupon pump and dump will make a good chapter in a finance textbook someday.
